The MenschMeerMedien Festival takes part at the old industry culture site Nordwolle in the middle of Europe, which was a famous woolmill in the time of industrialization. Between the red brick stone fassades, towers and bridges and in the old steam-machine-hall visitors will find actual media art from artists in Germany, Poland and the U.S..

Join us for a summer night fusion of the high-tech eclectic. This event is a return to the roots of the VJ/DJ dance party where a distinct amalgamation of NYC’s most innovative VJs and finest cutting edge DJs transform Sullivan Room into an enchanted sonic-visual space.
After the overwhelming success of the first Red Eye, Sullivan Room once again becomes a multi projection space where visualists mixing and mash video live all night. The returning group of VJs VisualHornHonking, Lady Firefly, Holly Daggers, and three5eric are joined by CHiKA, Giles Hendrix, and Benton-C.
Benton-C takes a break from designing curricula to teach the art of the VJ at Eyebeam in order to show us how it’s really done by doing an “old school” mix of classic visuals from his archives. Giles’ appearance is fresh from his big gig with Paul van Dyk at Central Park Summerstage. CHiKA takes the minimalism of work to another level using only hardware with intense limitation.
The powerhouse lineup continue with DJs from the Sullivan Room scene including Z-Lenin, Serge aka JYD (Satellite Records), Hard Edge, and our own ActivePhaze (MadFlat/EyeWash). This event is curated by VisualHornHonking and ActivePhase of MadFlat and produced by Forward Motion Theater in conjunction with the artists.

Welcome to one of the region™s cultural jewels! The Hudson Opera House offers a year-round schedule of arts and cultural programming, community events, classes, exhibitions, and more. All in an historic building that is being restored to its 19th century glory.
Hudson Opera House, Inc., founded in 1991 by Hudson and Columbia County residents, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community by restoring the historic and architecturally significant Old City Hallâ”long known as the Hudson Opera House—as a cultural and civic center for Hudson and the surrounding region. Since opening in December of 1997, HOH Inc. has restored five rooms on the first floor, and presented more than 2000 cultural and educational programs.
The Hudson Opera House provides free or low-cost cultural offerings every week of the year. Ongoing programs include concerts, readings, lectures, exhibitions, theatre and dance presentations, after-school programs, workshops, classes, and community arts events like the annual Winter Walk on Warren Street.
