
CONCEPT
Abstract flickering imagery and Zach’s low-frequency sine (Alpha) waves used as a means of evoking rhythms that reflect a relaxed, meditative awareness. This collaborative concept was inspired by a technique called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which was developed in the 1980s by Dr. Francine Shapiro, a psychologist who discovered that alternating stimulation between the right and left hemispheres of the brain through repetitive horizontal eye movements.
