AUDIO-VISUAL PERFORMANCE
CONCEPTUtilizing three projectors to illuminate two walls and two others to project onto the floor, we orchestrated a real-time live visual performance in collaboration with sound artist Dafna Naphtali.
PERFOMANCE
PARASPACE
VIDEO INSTALLATION
CONCEPTIn this exhibition, we explore how contemporary artists use digital tools to explore cyberspace, the human body, and nature in the post-internet era. Through mediums such as animation, 3D computer graphics, video, and glitches, selected artists construct virtual scenes from remnants of the internet and consumer culture.
Paraspace introduces a collapsed domain where the fundamental nature of subjects and landscapes is challenged, inviting questions and opportunities for redefinition.

OPTOSONIC TEA
AUDIO-VISUAL PERFORMANCE
CONCEPTOptoSonic Echoes is an 8-channel continuous sound installation positioned at the exterior of the Museum’s north entrance, containing the voices and sounds of participants in the September 27 performance, OptoSonic Tea @ the Parrish, an evening-length group improvisation featuring some of the world’s most innovative video and sound artists.
The piece captures thoughts on process, art, technical topics, and collaboration, interwoven with a variety of musical sounds, noises, and field recordings. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the ideas and concerns that will shape them.
OptoSonic Echoes and OptoSonic Tea @ the Parrish are new commissions for the Museum’s Platform project, an annual invitation to an artist or artist collective to consider the entire Museum as a potential site for works that transcend disciplinary boundaries, encouraging new ways to experience art, architecture, landscape, and community.

CHRONOS
AUDIO-VISUAL
CONCEPTAbstract flickering imagery and Zach's low-frequency sine (Alpha) waves are employed to evoke rhythms that resonate with a calm, meditative awareness. This collaborative concept draws inspiration from a method known as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), pioneered in the 1980s by Dr. Francine Shapiro. She found that alternating stimulation between the right and left hemispheres of the brain, achieved through repetitive horizontal eye movements, could induce specific responses.
