CONCEPT

SHIKAKU takes its name from a Japanese word meaning square (四角), vision (視覚), angle of view (視角) and blind spot (死角). SHIKAKU05 maps sound-responsive light onto paper forms, exploring how geometry changes with the viewer's position. As sound and light meet in the space, the viewer becomes part of the work.
