CONCEPTGO (pronounced "goh") takes its name from a Japanese sound shared by words meaning five (五), self (吾), mutuality (互), pleasure (娯), and awakening (悟).

GO02 brings the series to Manhattan, linking five sites with Nowhere Gallery at their center. Each site has its own augmented reality sculpture, based on one of the five Platonic solids and revealed by scanning a QR code. Each carries a direction, an element, and a color, drawing on East Asian and classical Greek ideas of the five elements. To the north, a black icosahedron of water rises over Times Square; to the west, a white octahedron of air floats above the High Line; at the center, a yellow cube of earth stands at the 9/11 Memorial; to the east, a green dodecahedron of wood grows in the East Village; and to the south, a red tetrahedron of fire burns in Chinatown.

At the gallery, a central light installation stands, and all five sculptures appear there together. Visitors choose which sculptures to bring into the light, composing their own mix of physical and virtual light, and take photos with their phones, turning each view into an artwork of their own. Moving between the gallery and the five sites, in either direction, traces an invisible map of Manhattan.
